That’s the goofy sort of look of love the best hubby that ever was in the galaxy gave me the other day when he tried on the first finished Regia Silk sock. I’ve never seen anybody so happy about socks. He’s totally loving the fact that I made them. I’m totally loving how much he’s loving it. Let’s also point out that the yarn is luscious and the resulting fabric delicious. That kinda makes up for the boring colour.
He promised he’ll wear them to work and will show them to everybody and tell them wifey made them. We like to get corny on people every now and then.
He took the below picture of his new favourite socks. If you know where it is, you can see the Chrysler Building in the distance.
And here’s one that didn’t quite work out, and this here represents the colour better.
Speaking of socks and love. Hi Gabe! Gabe is a friend of hubby’s who aparently got inspired by me, moi, mene to pick up knitting again. And even better, he’s going to learn how to make socks! OK, that’s not because of me, moi, mene, but because he’d like to continue his grandmother’s tradition of knitting socks and passing them around the family. Awww. You’d think “Hey, lucky Gabe, MeMoiJa can show him how it’s done!” Unfortunately for him, and fortunately for ya’ll who’d have gotten to hear all about it … he moved with GF, dogs and everything to California.
