The Sock Post

In no particular order, some nice sites I found when I was looking for a description of how to keep my purl-side yarn-overs on my short row heel tight. These are more or less ‘instructional’ pages.

Let me know about your favourites. Whatever language. Also, if you know of some nice patterns, lemme know. A preliminary “all things socks” page is here. I’ll add on as I find things. Hopefully.

I’m signed up with the Six Sox Knitalong and the German Mustersocken Strickalong. I’ll see if I can link to those patterns. Only a little bit obsessive.

* Lasst mich bitte Eure lieblings Sockmuster wissen. Ich weiss dass im Deutschsprachigen Raum jede Menge Socken gestrickt werden.

Okay, the saga of socks continues… I have completed my first short-row heel, per the fab instructions for Priscilla’s Dream Socks (yes, well worth the subscription to IK I bought just to access the sock recipe!) I have a few funky stitches on the purl side (not the holes from the yos, just the stitches twisted the wrong way) but by the end I figured it out!!

So glad I decided to rip the lumpy bumpy sock! So V, whenever I get back to Splinter SnB, we shall talk sock!!!
    xx

How is the sock page coming along? I’ve found something interesting - could you please let me know your address so that I could send you a copy of it. Unfortunately I don’t have a scanner, that would make things a lot easier.
