Cascading Leaves sock recipe, Lorna’s Laces Shepherd sock yarn in Berry.
Well. It’s hot pink. It looked cranberry on my monitor. Dear Sockapalooza pal. I’m sorry, I couldn’t chance ordering another colour. You’re stuck with this. I swear it is a very fun colour in real life. If you really don’t like it, I’ll make you another pair. Not a problem. Socks are fun. But you cannot possibly dislike the pattern. Right?
Boy was this fun to knit. In fact it was so much fun, (after a month of Clapotis and no end in sight), that I decided to rip the rib and two repeats I had knitted before the ribs and three repeats shown in the picture. I love this pattern.
I met a friend for dinner tonight, and on my way there, I found this.
i love that colour! i’ll take them if she doesn’t like it!
I would be thrilled to receive that sock. Relax! Your sock pal will love it.
yeah, if she doesn’t like them, can I also get into the recipient queue? Of course behind Kris and Collen since they’d asked first.
Hey, that building looks like the old John Hancock building in Boston.
The sock looks cozy.
If your Sock Pal doesn’t like them you can send them to me! Just Kidding. : )
Ah taj snijeg! Ovdje ga je sve vise. Carapa predivno izgleda. Moram oriznati da je carapa jedino sto jos nisam sastrikala.
fantastic socks! i doubt anyone would dislike them just because of the color. where did you get the pattern?
Ooohhhh…. I love socks! Socks Socks Socks! The pattern is really really nice. I’ll grill you about needle size and gauge and other stuff later.
Beautiful! Lorna’s Laces and a great sock pattern, who could resist?
Oh no, cannot possibly not like them. They are awesome! Great pattern, great color, what’s not to like? :)
Sock is gorgeous! No matter the color, which I think is nice, by the way.
I LOVE that pattern!!! Where is it from so I can knit some? :)
What a great pattern! They look great!
I would love to see a picture of the finished socks. Your “sock pal” must have been thrilled :-)
Could you please add the pattern name to your blog? The last blog entry I see is from 3/3/05 and it hasn’t been added.
